Beck - Columbia

The architect bought this tract house in Oakland Mill, Columbia, MD, and proceeded to do renovations on the interior and added a greenhouse to the side of the home. A patio, trellis, and fishpond were constructed at the front of the house. A fireplace was added to the living room and skylights flood the fireplace wall with light. A study with an open balcony was added to the second floor which overlooks the living room. A free standing display case sits under the balcony and separates the Living Room from the Entrance. The garage was enclosed to create a room for an invalid parent.
