The owners had purchased a three story unfinished house on a wooded, very private site in Baltimore County. It was totally unfinished on the interior and exterior and of no particular design value. A three story open space was created over the living room with balconies overlooking it from the second and third level. New windows and sliding glass doors were added thru out the home. The kitchen is unusual in that the wife insisted on mirrored backsplashes for the kitchen counters. Other features include a curved landing at the main stair, large sloping skylights in the cathedral ceiling over the library, and glass railings on the upper Master Bedroom level.
